Penetrating the Harvest

Some people Go. Some people Give so that others can Go.
To empower leadership and Gospel efforts in unreached and spiritually neglected areas and people groups by penetrating these areas, identifying potential leaders, and serving and assisting leadership development, organizational development, and church planting in those areas.

Our Missional Philosophy
Christ's first act under the New Covenant was to make His church apostolic.  The apostolic mission is a sending, going, penetrating, liberating, advancing, and empowering mission.  We believe that both the apostolic mission and the office of the Apostle continue as valid ministries in the 21st Century.  Our heart is to once again see the church as a strong apostolic movement.  Much of our time, effort, and resources are spent teaching on the apostolic ministry and thrust, and in empowering ministries to develop and implement apostolic strategy and ministry.

In keeping with our mission's philosophy, we have adopted a seven-fold apostolic process as the foundation of our missions efforts:
  1. Raise up and enlist indigenous workers.
  2. Target priority populated areas.
  3. Establish apostolic centers and networks.
  4. Establish Training Centers.
  5. Develop leaders and ministries.
  6. Establish and strengthen churches.
  7. Produce and distribute literature and use media to reach, teach, disciple and empower.

CO-MISSIONS is a vital part of the overall CTAN Missions strategy.  Through CO-MISSIONS, believers, groups, churches, and ministries are able to adopt and sponsor projects and needs around the world.
Examples of Projects :
  • Supporting the education of a national missionary in training ($15-50)
  • Providing a worker with a bicycle ($60)
  • Printing Bibles for distribution ($2-5)
  • Providing a fresh water well ($300-500)
  • Sponsoring a crusade or leaders conference ($500-$5000)
  • Building a church or apostolic center ($ 750-5000)
While CTAN focuses it's energies and resources on ministry to leaders, we partner churches and concerned individuals and groups with field needs identified by indigenous leaders.  These partners are able to help the project with the assurance of oversight, accountability, and financial integrity offered by CTAN.
